the Southern Gulf Islands

Located in the southern part of Georgia Strait, the Gulf Islands are British Columbia's southern most archipelago. Consisting of Pender, Salt Spring, Galiano, Saturna, and Mayne Island, the Southern Gulf Islands are the only archipelago offering year round cruising. Consistent with the other cruising destinations along the BC coast, the Gulf Islands offer many great anchorages but sets itself apart with the amount of arts, culture and entertainment that happen here in the summers. Popping by for the Pender Harbour Jazz festival in September, or the farm fresh markets and wineries on Salt Spring Island are sure to help make any trip here very memorable.
