YachtingBC consists of a collaboration of service and hospitality professionals that aim to provide an unparalleled experience along the British Columbia coastline. Led by Steve Jackman, whose 25 years of marine experience includes building and running high volume and service focused marinas, chandleries, restaurants and event halls, the team consists of local superyacht captains, tour operators, and service professionals.
Our Services
Provisioning
Working with local vendors in both major cities and smaller communities along the coastline, the team at YachtingBC works with the yachts chef to provide both dry goods and fresh produce along the entire British Columbia coastline.
Itinerary Planning
In addition to leveraging our local superyacht captains knowledge of the ideal anchorages in the area, our team has been creating unique and memorable cruising itineraries for over 20 years throughout the various archipelagos in BC’s waters. YachtingBC, also being a marketing agency, leverages our graphic arts team to provide a very thorough custom itinerary with sections for guests, captain and crew.
Customs and Immigration
YachtingBC will handle all of your vessel entry details including crew and guest entry documentation. We can also provide a clear list of what you are able to bring into Canada and a bonded warehouse when needed.
Pilotage Waivers
In British Columbia, yachts over 500GT require a pilot upon entry to Canadian waters. Captains with extensive experience along the BC coastline can apply for a waiver to operate without a compulsory pilot through the Pacific Pilotage Authority. YachtingBC can assist to make this process seamless for your vessel.
Services and Repairs
As our team consists of both captains, brokers and service professionals, YachtingBC can provide parts, repairs and service for transient yachts whether getting work done in one of our service yards, or flying a professional to you at anchor.
